  1. Get 4 potatoes chopped into small cubes
  2. Get 1 tsp kashmiri chilli powder

Steps to make Spicy Potato Roast:
  1. In a heavy bottomed pan add oil on a medium heat. Add mustard seeds,urad dal and gram dal and let it splutter. Now add chopped potato cubes and mix well.
  2. To it add kashmiri chilli powder, sambhar powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste. Mix well and cook on a low heat until potato is soft. Now open the lid and roast until it crisp outside and soft inside. Add curry leaves and garnish it with coriander leaves. It's a well accompaniment for rice and rotis.
