Prepare 120 g Minced Pork

Prepare 1/4 tsp Salt
Make ready 1/4 tsp Sugar

Get 1/4 tsp Mirin or Shaoxing Wine

Prepare 1/2 tsp Corn Starch
Get Dash White Pepper
Prepare Sauce:
Prepare 1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
Get 3 tbsp Water
Prepare 1/8 tsp Sugar
Instructions to make Steamed Egg Tofu with Minced Pork:
Mix the minced pork together with the optional ingredients, if not, add marinade seasoning & stir to mix till combine. Set aside in the fridge for about 30mins & let it marinate.
Oil the plate with sesame oil. Carefully slice egg tofu into 1.5-2cm thick slices and arrange on plate.
Scoop a teaspoon of meat paste. You may use your hands to pinch and arrange it nicely on top of the tofu. Repeat till all the meat paste is being finished. (If there is excess meat paste left, you may place it directly onto the empty spaces of the plate in between the tofu for steamed minced pork.)
Put to steam on rapid boiling water until the meat is cooked (approximately 10-15mins).
Meanwhile, prepare the sauce in a separate bowl by mixing them all together.
When the meat is almost cook (approximately after 8-10mins) drizzle the sauce on top of the meat and tofu and let it continue to steam for another 5 mins. Serve hot.
