Prepare 1/2 cup finely chopped coriander leaves

Take Ingredients for masala paste
Prepare 4 chopped onions
Take 4 tbsp grated dry coconut
Prepare 10-12 garlic pods
Prepare 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
Get Ingredients of special Kolhapuri onion coconut masala
Get 4-5 red chillies (lavangi or byadagi)
Prepare 1/4 cup dried coconut
Prepare 5 onions cut thinly
Get 4-5 garlic pods
Get 1 inch ginger
Get 2 tbsp coriander seeds
Get 1 inch cinnamon stick
Get 3 green cardamom
Make ready 1 black cardamom
Get 1 tsp cumin
Make ready 1 tsp mustard seeds
Prepare 1/2 tsp fenugreek seeds
Get 1 tsp fennel seeds
Make ready 1 tsp asafetida
Make ready 1/4 tsp nutmeg powder

Prepare 1 1/2 tbsp poppy seeds

Take ingredients for masala paste. Make fine paste of it.
For kolhapuri onion coconut powder, take thinly chopped onions, garlic pods, grated ginger, finely chopped coriander, dry all these items in sun for 1 day. Take some oil and fry all above ingredients till they become crispy. Fry dry coconut using little oil. Fry all spices using little oil. Take all the above ingredients with red chilles and salt and make powder in mixer.
Now in a pan take marinated chicken, cover with lid, put on a low flame and cook it until chicken separates water.
In another pan take 4 tblsp oil, add all spice leaf. Then add masala paste. Fry for some time. Then add red chilli powder, termaric powder, kolhapuri onion coconut powder, salt and now fry it very nicely until the masala separates oil. Then add chicken in it. Stir it. You can add more water for thinning the gravy.
Cook it for 15 min or until chicken get cooked on low flame. Delicious chicken is ready. Serve with chapati/jowar bhakari/rice.
