  1. Take 10.8 ounce (aka one Birdseye brand bag) frozen Brussel sprouts (can also use fresh)
  2. Make ready 4 large cloves garlic (or to taste)
  3. Take 3 tablespoons olive oil
  4. Prepare Salt (to taste)
Instructions to make Garlic Brussel Sprouts:
  1. Microwave Brussel sprouts for recommended time on bag (usually 4 and 1/2 minutes)
  2. If using fresh Brussel sprouts, boil in large pot with teaspoon of sugar until tender enough to be stabbed easily with a fork
  3. Once cool enough to handle, halve Brussel sprouts
  4. Mince garlic cloves to desired size (larger pieces end in a crunchier end texture)
  5. In a large pan on medium heat, add olive oil and garlic, sautéing until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Then add halved Brussel sprouts
  6. Turn heat up to medium high and cook, stirring/flipping semi frequently. But leave sprouts in place long enough to develop browned/ slightly charred outsides
  7. Once Brussel sprouts have browned outsides and the garlic pieces have turned dark brown, take off heat. Season with salt to taste
  8. Serve
