The ingredients needed to make Leftovers Daal mash:
  1. Make ready 250 gms daal mash (soak in water)
  2. Get 3/4 tbsp salt to taste
  3. Prepare 1 tsp crush red chilli
  4. Take 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  5. Take 1 tsp zeera
  6. Get 1 tsp crush roasted Coriander
  7. Get 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
  8. Take 2 green chilli chopped, Coriander
  9. Get 1 tbsp ginger julienne
  10. Get 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  11. Get 2 tomato cubes
  12. Get 1 medium onion chopped
  13. Prepare 1/4 cup oil/ ghee
Steps to make Leftovers Daal mash:
  1. Wash and soak the daal for 20 minutes.
  2. Now boiled the daal for 15 minutes with little bit of turmeric and salt then stain it.
  3. Now heat the pan add oil/ ghee add zeera and onion and sauté it for 2 minutes then add garlic and ginger paste stir it.
  4. Now add tomato and all the spices and stir it then make a masala and cook it.
  5. Now add daal mash in masala fry in masala and add little water and with green chilli, ginger julienne Coriander and garam masala powder you can add 1 tsp of butter also to enhance the taste of mash daal.
