  5. Prepare 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  6. Prepare 2 tbsp sour cream

Ground beef is super forgiving and can go straight from the freezer into the frying pan for making hamburger gravy in minutes. To do so, add a little water or beef broth to the pan and cover, turning the block of ground beef often and cutting into smaller pieces as it thaws. Cook and stir until evenly browned. Drain most of the grease, leaving just enough to coat the pan.

Instructions to make Ground Beef and Gravy:
  1. Brown the ground beef with the sliced onions and mushrooms in a deep frying pan.
  2. Add the gravy and worcestershire.
  3. Simmer for about 15 minutes.
  4. Right before serving stir in the sour cream.
  5. Serve over mashed potatoes. I make skin on redskin mashies with butter and sour cream…yum!

Cook and stir until evenly browned. Drain most of the grease, leaving just enough to coat the pan. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, egg, bread crumbs, pepper, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce.
