  8. Prepare 1 cup besan/ gram flour

  10. Make ready 1/4 tsp hing/ asafoetida

This imparts a chewy, crunchy dimension to the kadhi making it more satiating. Pakodas made with besan, dunked in dahi kadhi makes a delicious accompaniment for rice. I followed the same recipe of my friend Sangeeta's Daahi kadhi recipe, just added pakoda to it. Pakoda Kadhi is a very popular North Indian recipe and the pakodas are an added attraction that makes this curry so irresistable.

Instructions to make Pakoda kadhi:
  1. Mix besan, sliced onion, salt,haldi and water to make batter for pakodas. Whisk it.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and make pakoras
  3. Now in a bowl mix curd, besan, salt,haldi and water. Whisk it to make a thin consistency batter avoiding lumps.
  4. Heat oil in a pan. Add methi dhanya and hing. Now add mixture in it and cook it by stirring continuously until 1 boil.
  5. Now cover and cook it for 5 min. Now add pakodas and cook for 2 min. Add garam masala. Now kadhi is ready. Garnish with coriander leaves.
