Kadhi Pakora is a light and delicious Indian curry made from chickpeas flour (besan) and sour curd (yogurt). Pakoras or fritters can be made from chickpeas.

  1. Take 200gm Gram flour
  2. Take 500 gm Curd
  3. Prepare 2 spoons Salt

  6. Prepare 3-4 Chopped green chilli
  7. Take 1/2 spoon Cumin seeds
  8. Make ready 1/2 spoon Coriander powder

  11. Make ready 2 Chopped onions
  12. Get as per need Oil
  13. Prepare as required Water

It consists of a thick gravy based on chickpea or gram flour to which yogurt is added to give. A Kadhi recipe which is a family heirloom recipe. This fabulous Kadhi Pakora is my mother in law's treasured recipe of making the traditional Punjabi Kadhi with onion pakora. Kadhi Pakora Recipe is a Pakistani soupy curry with lots of pakoras in it, and is finished off with a karhi patta tadka.

Steps to make Kadhi Pakoda:
  1. Take a bowl. Add 150 gm of besan, 1/2spoon salt, 1/2cumin seeds, 1/2spoon coriander powder, some red chilli powder. Add water and make a thick paste for pakora. Take a pan on gas stove, add oil and make pakoda
  2. Take another pan, add 2tbspoon oil and add garlic, chopped onion and cook till light brown, add 50gm besan and mix well. Add 1and half spoon salt, 2spoon turmeric powder, 1spoon red chilli powder and mix well.
  3. Add curd and cook for 2 minutes with continuous stirring. Add some water and cook for 5 minutes. Add pakora in it and again cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Pakora kadhi is ready to serve with rice.
