  1. Take For pakoda
  2. Prepare 4-5 tsp besan
  3. Prepare 1/4 tsp coriander powder
  4. Take 1 tsp ajwain
  5. Take as per taste chilli powder and salt
  6. Get 1 medium onion
  7. Get 1/4 tsp garam masala
  8. Get As needed water
  9. Take For kadhi
  10. Prepare 500 ml sour curd
  11. Make ready as needed Dry spices
  12. Take as per need Meethi seeds
  13. Get 2 Dry chilliis
  14. Prepare as per taste Salt
  15. Take as needed Turmeric powder
  16. Get as required Ghee or oil
  17. Make ready For rice
  18. Get 1 cup rice
  19. Get 2 cup water
  20. Get 1/2 tsp cumin seed
  21. Prepare 2 tsp ghee

Kadhi is a yogurt based curry with gram flour. Kadhi chawal, one of the most popular and delicious Punjabi dish. This popular dish is favorite one of many people in Northern India. Punjabi kadhi chawal is an all-time favourite in Punjabi homes.

Instructions to make Kadhi Chawal:
  1. For rice :- take bowl n wash rice properly and soak in water for 1 hr.if you don't have time add in little hot water for 1 hr.
  2. For pakora :- Take a bowl 4-5 tsp gram flour add salt,turmeric powder,chilli powder,garam masala. Mix all ingredients add water to make batter. make sure batter neither loose or nor tight. Mix for 2 min. Leave it for 7-8 min
  3. Take a large bowl add sour curd or buttermilk. Add 1/4 gram floor of total curd. Add water according to liquid. Mix properly to avoid lumps
  4. Take a pan n oil to fry pakora. fried pakora n don't overcrowded the pan
  5. After frying takes access oil remain 2-3 tsp of oil. Add coriander and methi seeds. When they start crackle add 1 red chilli and saute them together
  6. Add turmeric powder n mixed buttermilk or curd. Move it continues until first boil to avoid lumps
  7. Also add red chilli powder n salt as per taste. When kadhi start boiling low the flame for 15-20 min. After 5 min add pakora
  8. Take a pan add 2 tsp ghee n cumin seed after 2 min add soak rice and pinch salt mix together and cover the pan for 10- 15 min. When all water goes up add 1 tsp ghee n cover the pan
  9. Serve now kadhi chawal in lunch you can try with it pulkha n paratha
