The ingredients needed to make Kadhi:
  1. Make ready 1 litre buttermilk
  2. Make ready 1/2 cup gram flour (besan)
  3. Get 1 cup besan pakoda
  4. Make ready as needed oil
  5. Take 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
  6. Prepare 1 oninon sliced
  7. Take to taste salt and red chilli powder
  8. Take 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  9. Make ready 1 tsp turmeric powder

Kadhi and Khichdi - A nutritious and comforting meal, home cooked by my mom is In winters, we enjoyed Khichdi with a piping hot bowl of yogurt based soupkadhi and in the summer it was served. Punjabi Kadhi pakora is ready to be served. Enjoy it with rice or rotis. It goes well with khichdi and jeera puloa also.

Instructions to make Kadhi:
  1. In a kadhai add oil and cumin seeds.then add green chillies and onion.cook for two minutes.
  2. Now add all spices and mix it.add potato and cook for two minutes.
  3. Add buttermilk and besan in a jug and mix it.pour it into the masala.stir continuously till it becomes boil.
  4. Boil for 15-20 minutes.add pakoda's in it.
  5. Kadhi is ready to serve.Serve hot.
  6. Ready

Enjoy it with rice or rotis. It goes well with khichdi and jeera puloa also. My husband makes the khichdi, I make the kadhi. The first time I made this recipe, hubby was a little skeptical about the turmeric and. Sindhi Kadhi is very delicious and nutritious.
