Instructions to make Rasam:
  1. Firstly soak lemon size tamarind in hot water for 15 minutes.
  2. In the meanwhile cook pigeon pea in the cooker for 4 whistles.
  3. Now in a mixer jar take 1 green chilli,4 garlic cloves n 1 tomato and make a puree.
  4. After 15 minutes done take a kadai put 3 tbsp oil.
  5. Once the oil gets heated add asafoetida and mustard
  6. Once the mustard starts splitter add tomato pure and tamarind pulp
  7. Mix them fr 2 minutes and add turmeric powder and rasam powder adjust this as your spice
  8. Let them boil for 5 minutes
  9. Now add cooked and mashed pigeon pea and salt to it
  10. Boil it fr 5 minutes..
  11. Switch off the flame and enjoy with hot rice šŸš
