Dump all the ingredients along with the chicken in an oven safe pot or pan in which all the chicken can sit in one layer and mix thoroughly. Allow chicken to marinate at least 20 minutes and up to overnight in the refrigerator.
35 minutes before you're ready to cook, take the chicken out of the fridge and let it come up to room temp.
15 minutes before you're ready to cook, pre-heat the oven to 425F.
Make sure the chicken is sitting in one layer, and roast in the 425F oven for 45 to 50 minutes for bone-in, skin-on chicken.
