In a large saucepot, cover potatoes with cold, salted water. Boil until potatoes are easily pierced with a paring knife. Drain. Return to pot. Crank up the heat and shake pot for 30 seconds to remove excess moisture.
Add ranch seasoning, roasted garlic, heavy cream, butter, sour cream, lemon peel seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Mash with a potato masher or whip with a mixer until desired consistency.
Adjust seasoning with extra salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with chives.
