In a pressure cooker boil the cauliflower and potatoes for 2whistles
Then finely cut onions, tomatoes and capsicum
Heat a kadai to it add oil and a spoon of butter and 3to 4finely cut garlic, then add the cut onions and stir.
When the onions get cooking add the capsicum and stir after a minute or so add the tomatoes and continue to stir with spoon watching that all the ingredients are cooking proper.
Add a tbsp of water to these cooking veggies and continue stirring.
Then add a tbsp of pav bhaji masala with a tsp of red chilli pdr. You can increase the quantity of the pav bhaji masala and red chilli pdr according to your spice quotient.
Stir nicely and see to it cooking then add salt and mix
When you see oil leaving the sides add the boiled potatoes and cauliflower and mix all this thorough.
To this add a cup of water and mix and let it cook. Mash the potatoes and cauliflower with the help of a big spoon.
Add a water when necessary,do not let the gravy be dry. When you see everything amalgamated and cooking nice and bubbling remove from fire.
Squeeze the juice of a lime to it.
Garnish the pavbhaji with coriander, cut pieces of onion and a dollop of butter.
The pav of pavbhaji is an absolute must. To the pav you cut it apply butter on both sides and toast it on a tava. Crispy and buttery.
