  2. Prepare medium onion chopped
  3. Get tomato chopped

Steps to make Chicken Patiala:
  1. In a bowl marinate the chicken with curd, ginger, garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chilli and salt. Mix well. Keep aside.
  2. In a karahi heat oil. Add diced onion and capsicum. Saute for 1-2 minutes. Take it out from the pan.
  3. In the same karahi heat oil. Add cinnamon stick, green cardamom and cloves. After few second add chopped ginger and garlic. Saute for one minute. Add chopped onion. Cook until golden in colour.
  4. Now add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, salt. Add chopped tomatoes. Cook on medium flame.
  5. Add marinated chicken. Add chopped green chilli. Cook it for 5 minutes on low flame. Add kasuri methi. Cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Now add water. Boil it till the chicken is fully cooked. Add cashew nut paste and fried onion capsicum. Cook for few minutes.
  7. Add garam masala powder and cream. Cook for one minute.
  8. Now the chicken is ready. Garnish with chopped green chilli and ginger. Serve it with tandoori roti.
