Take 1 cup jaggery / gud
Get 1/4 cup water
Steps to make Jaggery Dry Fruit Chiki:
Firstly, in a pan take almonds, cashew, pistachios.Dry roast on low flame for 5 minutes or until the nuts turn crunchy
In a large pan take ghee, jaggery and water. - mix well until the jaggery dissolves completelyboil for 5 minutes or until the syrup turns frothy.now check the consistency, by dropping syrup into a cup of water, it should form hardball or else boil for another minute and check.
Add the nuts,mix well making sure jaggery syrup coats well. - immediately pour the mixture on to a greased butter paper. be quick else the mixture turns hard and will be difficult to set. - cover with another greased butter paper, roll with the help of a rolling pin.
When it is still warm cut into pieces.allow to cool for a minute, and - finally, serve dry fruit chikki once cooled completely
