The ingredients needed to make Shrimp Fry:
  1. Get Prawns -
  2. Take ginger garlic paste -
  3. Take chilli powder -
  4. Get turmeric powder -
  5. Get coconut pieces -
  6. Prepare onions , sliced -
  7. Take salt
  8. Make ready curry leaves
  9. Prepare oil
Steps to make Shrimp Fry:
  1. Marinate the prawns with ginger garlic paste, chilli powder(half of it), turmeric powder, salt. Keep it covered in the refrigerator for 3 hours or more.
  2. Boil the prawns with masala till it is cooked. Don't overcook it.
  3. Heat oil and fry the prawns after draining it from the masala water. 
  4. Now heat 1 tsp of oil and put in some curry leaves. Then add the coconut pieces. Let it turn brown and crisp. Wait till it stops splattering. Now fry the onions till it turns golden brown. Add half of the remaining ingredients left.
  5. Add the fried prawns to the gravy. Serve hot.
