In a large skillet, brown beef over medium heat. Drain fat from pan, and transfer meat to a bowl. In the same skillet, cook onion and bell pepper in butter until tender. HEAT oil in same skillet over medium-high heat.

  8. Simmer the sauce for 15 minutes then add the meat patties.
  9. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  10. Let them sit off heat covered 15 minutes. This will allow the sauce to seep into the meatballs a bit. Now serve on top of the Fettuccine.
