  1. In a small pan, take 1 tbsp ghee and roast cashews till color changes and then add raisins and saute.
  2. In a deep kadhai/vessel, take 1 tbsp ghee and roast makhana till crispy.
  3. Take about 1/2 cup makhana and grind to a fine powder and keep aside.
  4. In a kadhai, take 500ml milk (keep aside 1/4 cup milk to mix milk powder or take extra milk).
  5. Add makhana powder and mix well. Then add milk powder diluted in milk to the kadhai. Mix well.
  6. Add sugar and stir. Add cardamom powder, saffron milk, and mix. After a few minutes add makhana and let it cook for about 2 minutes.
  7. Serve hot.
